PA6+GF35 is a 35% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 compound developed for applications requiring exceptionally high stiffness, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability. Compared to lower glass-filled grades, GF35 offers superior performance under mechanical load and at elevated temperatures.

This material is optimized for injection molding and exhibits low creep, enhanced fatigue resistance, and good surface finish considering its high filler content.

It is ideal for load-bearing, structural, or under-the-hood automotive parts that demand long-term durability and thermal performance.

Typical Applications

Automotive Industry: Structural brackets, engine covers, air intake manifolds, transmission components

Power Tools: High-strength housings, internal frames, mechanical linkages

Industrial Equipment: Motor casings, gear bases, mechanical connectors

Electrical & Electronics: High-temperature connectors, switch housings, structural support frames

Consumer Goods: Functional parts requiring enhanced strength and heat resistance

FAQFrequently Asked Questions

Q1: Whats the advantage of GF35 vs GF30 or GF25?

A: GF35 offers significantly higher stiffness and strength, suitable for applications with higher mechanical loads. However, flowability is lower than GF25 or GF30.

Q2: Is this grade suitable for high-heat automotive environments?

A: Yes, the heat-stabilized version performs well under continuous use temperatures up to 150160°C.

Q3: Can I get customized colors or flame retardant ratings?

A: Yes, we provide custom compounding services including color matching and UL94 V-0 formulations.

Q4: Is this material compatible with glass insert overmolding or metal inserts?

A: Yes, the grade is often used with inserts in structural assemblies.
