45% Glass Fiber Reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6 GF45) – Ultra-Rigid Engineering Plastic for Structural Automotive Parts, Industrial Machinery, and Load-Bearing Components
PA6+GF45 is a high-performance polyamide 6 compound reinforced with 45% glass fiber by weight. Designed for applications where exceptionally high rigidity, dimensional stability, and mechanical strength are critical, this grade is commonly used in structural and load-bearing parts in the automotive, power tool, and industrial sectors.
Despite the high glass fiber content, it still maintains reasonable flowability for injection molding and delivers excellent thermal performance, creep resistance, and fatigue strength over extended use.
It is ideal for replacing metal parts in engineering designs where weight reduction and corrosion resistance are desired.
Typical Applications
Automotive: Cross car beams, underbody shields, front-end modules, suspension brackets
Industrial Machinery: Gear housings, bearing supports, structural frames, pump components
Electrical Equipment: High-strength connector housings, cable clamps, circuit board supports
Power Tools: Motor housings, mechanical supports, torque transmission parts
Consumer Durable Goods: Reinforced brackets, hinges, structural casings

❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why choose PA6+GF45 instead of GF30 or GF35?
A: GF45 provides much higher modulus and stiffness, making it ideal for structural parts that replace metal. However, it requires optimized mold design due to lower flowability.
Q2: Is this material suitable for high-load and high-temperature applications?
A: Yes, the heat-stabilized grade supports long-term continuous use up to 150–160°C and maintains excellent mechanical properties.
Q3: Can you supply UL94 V-0 flame retardant versions?
A: Yes, we offer PA6-GF45-FR grades compliant with V-0 rating. Custom formulations are also available.
Q4: How does GF45 affect dimensional stability and shrinkage?
A: The high glass fiber content significantly reduces warpage and shrinkage, resulting in excellent dimensional precision.
