Baekeland (Xiamen) Impact-Resistant PC/PBT Alloy Resin for Automotive Exterior Parts and Electronic Housings
Baekeland (Xiamen) Modified PC/PBT Alloy Resin is a high-performance thermoplastic blend that combines the excellent toughness and heat resistance of Polycarbonate (PC) with the superior chemical resistance and dimensional stability of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT).
This synergistic alloy is widely used in automotive exterior trims, electrical housings, connectors, and consumer electronics, especially where a balance of impact resistance, UV resistance, and moldability is required.
The resin can be customized with glass fiber, flame retardants, UV stabilizers, and impact modifiers to meet diverse application demands.
Key Features:
✅ Excellent impact resistance — suitable for high-stress environments
✅ Good dimensional stability — low warpage, consistent molding results
✅ Weather and UV resistance — ideal for exterior automotive parts
✅ Flame retardant grades available — UL94 V-0 and glow wire compliant
✅ Chemical resistance — better than PC alone, especially to fuels and oils
✅ Good paintability and surface finish — for aesthetic applications
✅ Wide processing window — suitable for standard injection molding
